At CDPHE, we want everyone in Colorado to easily access the information and resources we provide. We understand that some people may need documents and information in different formats. For instance, some might need captions on videos, while others may require content compatible with screen readers or in a larger font. We're dedicated to making necessary adjustments so everyone can get the information they need.
Digital accessibility statement
Our ongoing accessibility effort works towards being in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG). These guidelines not only help make web content accessible to users with sensory, cognitive, and mobility disabilities but ultimately to all users, regardless of ability.
This website is part of a meaningful change in making the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment (CDPHE) inclusive and digitally accessible. We welcome comments on how to improve this website’s digital accessibility for users with disabilities and requests for accommodations to any of CDPHE services.
Need assistance?
Request support with a website or application
A digital accommodation request is when someone asks for changes to a website or app to make it easier to use, often due to a disability. For example, they might need larger text, screen reader compatibility, or keyboard navigation. This ensures everyone can access and use digital content. For accessibility assistance with a CDPHE website, form, or application, please complete our CDPHE Digital Accessibility Request Form or email our Digital Accessibility Team.
Aira: free for up to 30 minutes per session
The State of Colorado is excited to offer a new service for blind and low-vision Coloradans through a partnership with Aira, an app that provides live, on-demand visual interpreting through human-to-human assistance.
Access for the visually and hearing impaired
Dial 711 or 800-659-3656 to reach Relay Colorado. Relay Colorado is a free service that provides full telephone access to people who are deaf, hard of hearing, deaf-blind, or speech-disabled.
Request for language accommodation or support
The Language Services Request Form is available to help community members participate in CDPHE program or services. Please submit a request at least 7 business days before the date the support is needed. Please note that not all accommodation and language requests can be met. CDPHE staff will review your request to determine the support we can provide.
