Families and early childhood professionals can support and encourage children to develop healthy eating and active living habits early in life at home and within care settings. Once a child reaches three years old, it’s harder to change their behaviors, so exposing kids to many different, healthy behaviors at an early age can have a big impact on their lives.
The Healthy Eating Active Living (HEAL) in Child Care Toolkit is available in English and Spanish.
