Denver, CO—Today, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency announce the signing of an Informal Resolution Agreement under Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and other civil rights statutes. Denver (Jan. 15, 2025) — Today, the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment announced that Colorado has seen a dramatic slowing in projected congenital syphilis cases. CDPHE is projecting only 60 cases, a 60 percent reduction of the initial projection.
