Part 9 Rulemaking

Notice of public rulemaking hearing for Radiation Regulations Part 9

Following a stakeholder process and comment period held June 4 through July 5, 2024, changes to the Part 9 rule were adopted by the Colorado Board of Health on October 16, 2024. Following review by the Colorado Attorney General’s office and Colorado Secretary of State’s office, the rule will become effective on December 15, 2024. Part 10 Rulemaking

Rulemaking for Part 10 Radiation Control – Notices, instructions, and reports to workers: inspections.

Following a stakeholder process and comment period held March 1 through March 31, 2024, changes to the Part 10 rule were adopted by the Colorado Board of Health on June 20, 2024. Part 21 rulemaking: Radon LIRMA program

Rulemaking for Part 21 Radiation Control – Colorado low income radon mitigation assistance (LIRMA) program.

Following a stakeholder process and comment period held February 5 through March 6, 2024, changes to the Part 21 rule were adopted by the Colorado Board of Health on June 20, 2024.
