Renovation professionals must provide owners or occupants with an EPA pamphlet on lead safety and renovation. The EPA “Renovate Right” pamphlet, available at the link below, must be provided at least seven days before the renovation and a written acknowledgment of receipt must be obtained from the owner or adult occupant.
This requirement applies to any renovation that disturbs 2square feet or more of a painted surface in a child-occupied facility or housing built before 1978.
