Draft reports are located after the instructions below and are available around the beginning of March. If used, it is the water system's responsibility to make any necessary changes to finalize. Only Community Public Water Systems (PWS) are required to distribute a report. If you are looking for current water system information use our Guide to finding PWS info & online records.
Beginning in 2025, consumer confidence reports (CCRs) must contain the following additional information, required under the Federal Register notice published on January 15, 2021:
- A statement that a service line inventory has been prepared and how to access it.
- The range of lead and copper tap sampling results, listed in the detected contaminants data section.
- The revised lead educational statement as specified in 40 CFR 141.154(d)(1). See the FAQ below and/or your draft CCR for specific language.
- The Department-generated draft CCRs have been updated to contain the new required elements. Please note that these requirements are independent from new requirements required under the CCR Rule Revisions that will go into effect January 2027.
